James Jacques Joseph Tissot - Episode 1 : 파리 시절

제임스 티소는 낭트의 한 중산층 가정에서 태어나 파리에서 미술공부를 했고, 젊은 시절 파리의 상류사회 여인들의 패셔너블한 의상을 아름답게 묘사한 작품들을 선보이며 일찍부터 놀라운 성공을 거두었습니다. 그는 당대 최고의 매거진 배너티 페어(Vanity Fair)의 패션 일러스트를 담당하기도 했으며, 예술계의 '모드(mode)'라는 별칭까지 얻었다고 합니다.
